But when my blood sugar drastically dropped, they actually gave me apple juice and sugar-free yogurt (which I normally would never have bought for myself, but beggars can't be choosers). Aside from the oddity of eating in the middle of a dental appointment, let me tell you -- trying to drink apple juice and eat yogurt with a very numb mouth is not a pretty picture! I, too, had a many-hours long dental appointment just this summer for two crowns.
