My Sister’s Wedding: The Reception

The wedding reception was a PAR-TY! 8-)

The bride and the groom definitely had the time of their lives!

After snapping photos outside, we headed indoors for a cocktail hour and some appetizers.

The Mediterranean bar was delicious! :-D

IMG_9203.JPG

I really loved the Parmesan cheese!

The room for the reception was decorated so beautifully! My sister’s choice in decor and table settings made the room feel very autumn-y.

A single pumpkin truffle was placed by each of the table settings as a wedding favor. They were so GOOD! I ate Mal’s too! ;-)

IMG_9232.JPG

Dinner was great! I started with a house salad with Italian dressing.

IMG_9241.JPG

For my entree, I ordered the vegetarian option. It was baked eggplant in a pumpkin and squash puree.

IMG_9263.JPG

Inside the eggplant were beans, barley, and squash. It doesn’t look that pretty, but it was an amazing meal! I practically ate the entire portion.

After dinner, the happy couple cut the cake.

IMG_9246.JPG

Pat and my sis were so cute!

IMG_9248.JPG

Cake is one of my favorite parts about weddings!

Also for dessert was a wonderful chocolate bar with fresh fruit. I was pretty full after eating dinner, 2 truffles, and a piece of cake, so I only enjoyed one piece of banana dipped in chocolate. It was divine!

After filling my stomach, I hit the dance floor to burn off some calories!

We boogied down for the next couple of hours!

So fun!!!

I still can’t believe my sister is a Mrs! I am so thrilled that she picked such a wonderful guy as her husband.

Congrats, Sister and Pat! Enjoy your honeymoon!!!

    Tina,
Maybe this is strange, but I noticed in your pictures that you have wonderfully toned upper arms. What’s your secret?

You and your sis are so cute, I’m an only child so I was always a little jealous of people who were close to their sisters. You two are lucky to have each other!
