Hello from Logan Airport

Good morning!

I made it to the airport safe and sound– and it took only 5 minutes door-to-door. I love living so close to the city!

I started my morning with a big bowl of banana oats. I made a double batch for Mal and me.

In the mix:

• Oats
• Ground flaxseed meal
• Vanilla soy milk
• Very ripe banana
• Chunky peanut butter

I didn’t have time for coffee at home this morning, so I’ll probably grab some before I board the plane. I definitely need it this morning– I barely slept last night! I guess I was excited/nervous for today?

At the airport, I splurged and signed up for an account with Boingo, a service that provides Wi Fi at over 125,000+ hotspots around the world.

I might as well, right? It’s not like I won’t need internet access with my new career!

On August 15th, 2009, The Wandering Foodie and his film crew woke up at 4:00 AM to capture a day in the life of a foodie in Boston. They went to 24 restaurants, bars, and hotspots to document the best places to eat and drink in Boston.
