On-Demand Lunch

September 25, 2009

Thanks for your responses to my lunch question! :-D It was fun hearing what you guys would order, and, of course, it was helpful!

I ended up selecting the Chatpata Chana and Raita meal, which came with fresh carrot sticks, broccoli and cauliflower florets, sweet red and yellow bell pepper, cucumbers, daikon radish, sugar snap peas, grape tomatoes, kalamata olives…

A stuffed grape leaf…

And Mediterranean hummus and a cucumber dip infused with Indian flavor.

For a some added crunch, a bag of Stacy’s Pita Chips was also included. I basically chowed them! I forgot how much I liked pita chips!

Nutritious and delicious! Not your “typical” airplane food!

What a great lunch! Back to work I go!

I went on vacation recently and flew American Airlines. I was pleasantly surprised by their healthy offerings. I brought my own food, but it was good to know that I would’ve had healthy options. I hope the rest of your flight goes well :)
