OMG!! Are you getting him!? I hope so! I love dogs so much! I can’t have pets in my apartment though. I got to play with a beagle puppy the other day at the pet store. He almost bit my finger off because he thought it was the bone he was playing with but I still loved him!

Now THAT is a tease! I have two big dogs, but have always wanted a cutie like that that would sit on my lap and snuggle … my boys will sit on my lap, but they crush my internal organs and that’s no fun.

Awww So Cute! I have wanted a dog since 1st grade, but my two cats would be very displeased with me if I got one. So I hope you got that one!
Oh gosh he’s adorable! I absolutely love pugs and I want one sooooo badly, but I live in an apartment and my BF and I both have demanding/long hour jobs and we just don’t think that combo would be fair to the dog.
Gotta wait til we get a bigger place. If that’s your little guy I guess I will live vicariously through your posts.

I’m hoping/assuming this is not a pug you are getting (you’re in the process of moving, right?) and that when you get your pug, you’ll go to a responsible, reputable breeder (or a rescue!), and NOT a pet store…
Hi five to comment number 38…And not just any breeder… One that does health testing, and can prove it with paperwork, on both parents, for pug related genetic issues… And preferably one that belongs to the parent clubs …Don’t just look for letters after the name either… Find out which clubs they are, and what they stand for… I can’t beg you enough to do this…for the sake of your puppy, that puppies mother, and all the pugs everywhere….i will be happy to answer any other questions you might have about medical testing in relationship to this stuff…… and no, i don’t breed pugs for a living…..

So cute, but alway so sad to see them in cages in petshops! I always want to take all the animals home with me, so I avoid pet stores and shelters for now . . . can’t have my little studio apartment turning into a zoo
38, 39, 48: your concerns for animal welfare are admirable but you are making SO many assumptions: where the video was shot, whether tina even shot it, what the provenance of those animals is. and honestly? if it is her new dog, what exactly SHOULD happen to pets already in pet stores? they don’t deserve homes? i get the idea of interrupting that cycle, but if she got the dog, you’re WAY too late and should have shared those concerns a LOT sooner.
tina, don’t answer any questions about where the dog came from on the blog. i’d hate to see you harangued long into the future about this.
