Tomorrow is a big day for my husband. It’s MALAPALOOZA!!! 
And, sadly, it might just be the very last one.
Ok, so let me try to explain Malapolooza with the help of some photos from the most recent one in 2006. 
(We sort of count our wedding as Malapolooza 2008! 
)
Malapolooza begins around noon. Mal and a few friends gather at his parents’ house to begin setting up and “decorating.”
There was talk of a wet t-shirt contest, but it never happened.
Setting up for Malapolooza includes chilling beers in coolers…
And impromptu slip-n-slides!
It was much too hot to work!
Malapolooza also includes lots of activities and games.
Including Polish Horseshoes…
Volleyball…
Swimming…
And lots of debauchery!
At Malapolooza, there is plenty of delicious food…
And no shortage of adult beverages!
When it gets dark outside, everyone sets up their tents and hangs out by the fire.
People toast marshmellows…
Anyway that they can! 
They play the guitar and sing songs…
Act like fools…
And cause trouble!
(Poor Jim got thrown in the pool!)
The next morning, everyone packs up and goes home…
Usually a tad hungover! 
I can’t wait for tomorrow! I hope that the last Malapolooza goes out with a bang!

Ok, I went to Lollapalooza this year but Malopolooza looks incredible! Impromptu water slides and campfire fun sound BRILLIANT! Have fun!

@Royal: Mal’s been moved out of his parents’ house for years now. It’s sort of weird asking them to throw a big ripper at their house!

HAD TO COMMENT because this is hysterical!!! ahahaha Y’all are the funniest and most fun couple out there, I aspire to have a relationship like yours when I’m older! My appreciation for Mal was sealed when I saw him running after the beer cart at the Yelp event.. what a man!!

I was cracking up the entire time I was reading this because my boyfriend Brian (also known as Culla) has been having a Cullapalooza music fest every year for 11 years now! It started at his parents’ house and now has moved to his place in Somerville. When we move to Wakefield, I’m not sure where its going to be – this years may have been the last as well!
