I can’t believe the first half of the Healthy Living Summit is over! It totally flew by!
The day started with registration promptly at 8:00 AM.
While everyone registered, bloggers and readers enjoyed an amazing breakfast!!!
The food stars of the day were Stonyfield Oikos and MixMyGranola— a delicious combo and one of my favorites!
I think our attendees really enjoyed breakfast, too!
For breakfast, I ate a container of Oikos with MixMyGranola, fresh fruit, and coffee– and later went back for a second round of granola!
After breakfast, the conference kicked-off with some opening remarks from the HLS Committee.

Our first speaker of the day was Janel Ovrut, MS, RD, LDN, who talked about nutrition for all lifestyles. Her talk was excellent– easy to understand, relatable, and down-to-earth. Thanks, Janel!
Next, ZestyCook provided the group with a Blogging 101 session. Zesty knew a ton about social media and blogging– and he had wonderful tips and ideas for the attendees.
After a 45-minute Q&A with the bloggers, it was time for lunch! I think all of us were hungry!

Everything was so good! I especially loved the balsamic-roasted veggies and the pesto, which I added to my turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich.
