The final day of the Healthy Living Summit started with some exercise. We met in the lobby for an early morning run by the Charles River.
A number of the ladies were sporting their new shoe wallets from their swag bags. Cool!
We split into two running groups: 3 miles and 6 miles. I ran with the 3 mile group.
It was a beautiful morning!
After our run, we showered up and headed to breakfast.
First stop: Dunkin’ Donuts! A number of the ladies had never tried the iced coffee before, so I was psyched to share their first experience with them!
They loved it! 😀
Then we walked next door to grab a bagels from Finagle A Bagel for a low-key breakfast.
The group reconvened and ate breakfast in Boston Common. Sitting on the grass in a circle with packed meals sort of felt like a middle school field trip! 😉
I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel to which I added 2 packets of Barney Butter. I planned well this morning!
It was sad saying goodbye to my new blog friends, but it was so great meeting everyone!
After saying goodbye, we did a little shopping around town.
Trader Joe’s was a must-visit!
We found lots of goodies!
Then we headed to H&M. I tried on a couple of dresses, but I didn’t end up buying anything.
While shopping at H&M, I posted this Operation Beautiful note in the dressing room. It was my first note! I was so happy to finally participate! 😀
We worked up an appetite after a long walk to Trader Joe’s and shopping, so we popped into JP Licks for an afternoon treat. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie frozen yogurt, which was delicious– just like everything at JP Licks! 😉
Delish!
We did even more walking and shopping before having lunch at Scoozi. I wasn’t that hungry, but I knew that I needed to eat something more than just ice cream for lunch. Plus, I hadn’t eaten a vegetable all day!
I ordered a mixed greens salad with goat cheese, walnuts, tomatoes, and shrimp. It wasn’t too heavy, which was nice.
After lunch, we headed back to the hotel, said our goodbyes, and took one more photo of the 6 of us.
I still can’t believe the HLS has come to an end. It was a jam-packed weekend, but AWESOME! And it was great to finally meet the Summit Committee in person– they’re all such wonderful women! Of course, I will miss them, but I have a feeling that I will be seeing each other sooner than later!
