I had one of those days at work today. It was nothing that I couldn’t handle, but it was busy, busy, busy from the time I arrived this morning right until I left to head home. Holy moly! 😯 Needless to say, I wasn’t able to fit in a lunch post this afternoon… but, better late that never, right? 😉

Lunch

For lunch, I started with a homemade salad. This one was packed with all sorts of veggies: arugula, spinach, tomatoes, red and green peppers, cucumbers, yellow onions, mushrooms, grilled squash and zucchini. I love salads like this! :mrgreen:

Lunch also included leftover Croque Monsieur. I only ate half of my ridiculously cheesy sandwich last night, so I saved half for today’s lunch. It was just as delicious today!

IMG_5964IMG_5959My sweet treat after lunch was 2 chocolate-peanut butter chip cookies. They were so soft and chewy!

Mid-afternoon, I snacked on a Figtastic Bar from Lydia’s Organics, which was, well, fig-tastic! :mrgreen: I especially liked the crunchy seeds throughout and the subtle sweetness from the dates and agave nectar. Overall, it was an excellent bar!

I Love Yelp

The nice people at Yelp recently emailed a link to their gala event photos, so I snagged this photo of Mal and me on the red carpet. I’m standing a little funny, but I still think it’s a cute photo of us! 😀

Monday Night: Dinner, Exercise, Relax

I have no clue what’s for dinner tonight, but I am leaning toward a fruit and yogurt smoothie. I can’t seem to eat “real” food when it’s so hot and humid outside. I sort of lose my appetite, I guess? Does this happen to anyone else?

I’m also planning to fit in a workout. I’m on the fence about what to do, but I will definitely be listening to my newest 80’s playlist from Sonic Tap. I love my 80’s music! 😀
