Yay! Sun!

The sun is out! Yay! 8-) I’m so happy!

With the sun shining, it was nice day for tourists in Harvard Yard. Well, everyday is a nice day for tourists here! Today, the Yard was bustling with visitors and tour groups. The John Harvard statue, in particular, was swarmed with visitors!

Did you know that John Harvard is the 3rd most photographed statue in the US? ;-)
IMG_2746Work has been totally insane the past few days, but I finally got things under control, so I decided to take a walk around the Square to enjoy the nice weather. Most of the time, a leisurely walk and some sunshine do wonders for my mental health!

On my walk, I stopped into the Gap and bought a new shirt, and then popped into the Crema Cafe for an iced coffee with soy milk and cinnamon.

I had a nice, little afternoon, didn’t I? :-D

Around 3:30 this afternoon, I snacked on a Super Protein Odwalla Bar. Love these!

Lunch was a homemade salad topped with a grilled veggie burger and squash. In the mix was lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, and avocado. Awesome salad today!

Lunch also included some fresh cherries. I actually dug into them around 11:00. My smoothie didn’t hold me over well. :-?

Not sure what’s on the agenda for tonight, but it includes some relaxing. I have tomorrow off from work and then I am heading down South for a mini vaca. Even though, I was just on vacation, I feel like I seriously need this one!

Hope the sun is out where you are! 8-)

Cinnamon in coffee makes such a difference! It makes it taste like a yummy flavored beverage for such little effort and it’s free :)

I interned in Harvard Square last summer and lunchtime walks (and maybe a little shopping) were the best. Such a fun place. My company went to Crema Cafe at the end of the year and it was really good. Great sandwiches!
