Home Sweet Home

June 27, 2009

Ahhhh, home sweet home! I *think* I am happy to be home. I had such a blast on the west coast, I’m not sure why I even came back? I’d love to move to Seattle, but I know I never will– it’s just too far from family and friends. I’d miss them so much! I guess Mal and I will just have to visit more! ;-)

I was, however, happy to enjoy a big bowl of oats in the comfort of my own home this morning. I haven’t eaten oatmeal in over a week, which might be a record! I even got to eat my oats from a new pretty bowl that Mal’s step-mom gave me for my birthday!

So cute! The bowl is from Anthropologie! :-D

IMG_2155.JPG In the mix:

  • 1/2 cup dry oats
  • 3/4 cup vanilla hemp milk
  • 1/4 cup wheat bran
  • Raisins
  • Peanut Butter Puffins
  • 2 scoops of peanut butter

Interesting packaging, huh?

After being away for a week, a number of boxes of product samples were waiting for me to try. Our door guy must think that I have an online shopping problem because of all the packages I receive! You guys will be seeing a lot of new stuff in the coming weeks!

IMG_2150.JPGI usually don’t like flavored waters, but I am looking forward to trying the Fruit20 Essentials. I know Mal is super psyched to try them, which is why I didn’t wait to snap photos. He’ll drink all of these in a couple of days! IMG_2151.JPG IMG_2152.JPG

I have the biggest to do list known to man to accomplish today, including an open house, a Health post, Summit contracts, vacation recaps, and a birthday dinner! Yikes! It’s time for some iced coffee!

See ya later!

P.S. What’d ya think of all of those fridges???

Pretty interesting how we all eat! It was a cool idea to do that Tina!

Good luck on getting things done today! Glad Mal and you had a wonderful vacation!

Because of you…lol!!! I am having an iced coffee everyday. I use the brand of Teeccino. Have you heard of it? I really like the vanilla nut. It is an alternative coffee. It’s really good, so I go back and forth between coffee and this herbal coffee….balance….lol!!!

Have a great day,

Pam

Hmm I should submit mine. I live with 4 other girls, and we (barely ) manage to cram all of our stuff into one fridge. We’re all fairly healthy eaters too, so that means lots of produce. It’s quite hilarious how much we pack in there.

Welcome back. At least you came home to nice-ish weather!
I love all things anthropologie. After college I had to start making myself avoid the store.
Loved other people’s fridges. Reminds me that I have a lot of stuff I need to get rid of!

Glad you enjoyed your trip and finally made it back home! I know what you mean, there are so many cities I would LOVE to move to but my husband wouldn’t do it and I’m sure we’d miss our friends and family…eventually ;-)

Such a fun trip you had. It was fun to see all the fridges!
I know what you mean about moving so far away. We moved 3000 miles away from family and friends and had to move back the next year. :)

I’m glad you had a time in my two homes! :) it was so funny to see all the places around me featured. I def. have to try the breakfast buffet at Saltys. Its right down the street from me, but i’ve never tried it before.

It still fail to realize why companies add so much extra packing. Boo!

Glad you had a great time in Canada! I’ve only been out west once, and looooved it. I think sometimes we overlook our own country when planning a vacation!
