Anyone else having problems with Carrots ‘N’ Cake today? I just spent WAY too much time waiting for my provider (GoDaddy.com) to “establish a database connection.” It seems like this little “issue” happens much too often for my liking!

I had snapped a number of bright and colorful photos of today’s lunch, but since my hour break is ending in about 10 minutes, I need to speed right through it.

Lunch recap:

  • Raw veggies (carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli, and green peppers)
  • Homemade hummus
  • Red grapes
  • Mocha-walla Odwalla bar, which was AWE-SOME. The flavor and texture sort of reminded me of a brownie, but in bar form and a tad drier.
  • 2 dark chocolate Adora disks–  guess I was craving chocolate this morning?

(I’m glad that I prepared this part of the post earlier this morning!)

Free Golf Lessons

I read about this in Self the other day…

Sorry you’re having problems! It initially gave me a database error but then refreshed and was normal. I’ve been trying to combine activities with my husband and my “workouts” so we’ve been golfing and ice skating recently. :)

it took me awhile for the page to fully load. I added track workouts to my running and i find them…well, not so fun! but helpful overall.

Well you sure got your daily calcium today! I love the Adora disks, they taste just like dark chocolate candy – its amazing!

I can’t even remember the last new fitness activity I tried. Probably indoor rock climbing but that was all the way back in September!

oooo! I’ve never seen the mocha odawalla bar! I love those – really seedy and crunchy :) Have a great day!

I tried indoor rock climbing also back at the beginning of April. It was fun and challenging, although I’m not finding myself being drawn back to it much these days.

A couple weeks ago, I did the rowing machine at the gym, it was a nice change up and a good workout!

The last new fitness activity I tried was a Strive class. It is high intensity circuit training and I really liked it. it made me sore for four days, too, so my guess is that it was a great workout :)

The page was taking a long time to load this morning, but seems better now, at nearly 5pm EST. A few months ago I took a spinning class and really liked it, but the friend I was working out with didn’t, so I didn’t go back. The gym is near where I used to work, and it’s not near my house, but I’d definitely be up for doing it again.

I’m currently doing 30 Day Shred.. which has been great for me and a totally new way of working out. I’ve never been one to do strength training so i’m really appreciating the video.. even if it is only 20-25 mins a day, it makes a difference!

I reviewed level 1 today.. and i’m planning on starting level 2 tomorrow.

That Odwalla bar sounds incredible! I love mocha anything! Sorry about the frustrations with the website!!

Eek hope the bugs get worked out!

I recently started doing Shred, too. It’s definitely different! Especially now in level 2.

I also kind of did Bikram yoga. I say kind of because the room was only about 80*. Still interesting, though!

Yoga was the last fitness venture and I haven’t been doing it even though I really need to. When summer comes it’s easier to try new classes at the gym. All I ever do is run.

I tried Power Yoga about a month ago and now I’m addicted! I wish I could go every day. Also I’m getting back into hiking, so fun!

I didn’t have any troubles with your site so I think the bugs must have worked themselves out! I NEED a new exercise routine/activity. I am kind of in a rut right now :/

Gotta try that Odwalla!

I’m trying a new program next week…it’s called ChaLEAN extreme. It’s from the same company that makes P90X. I’m excited!

Mocha-walla!? Is that a new flavor, I’ve never seen it and I’ve been eating Odwalla’s for a few years!!

I have that mocha-walla bar in my stash too–can’t wait to try if after your review!

The last new fitness activity I tried was kayaking last summer. Fortunately, I didn’t have any capsizing issues, so I had a blast, and it was a great workout. I hope to do it again this summer!

I took skiing lessons at Killington in March – I FINALLY learned how to ski and it felt great! I was super sore the next day and couldn’t believe how many muscles I worked while having so much fun!

Doing yoga has been a relatively new endeavor for me. I still struggle with making the time to devote to it, but I always love the way I feel afterwards!

Re: Workers snacking more, gaining weight – I love how they grab a stock photo of a random obese woman’s behind to accompany this story, lol! She didn’t get that way since the media started playing the downturn of the economy! That took a while…
