Sweaty Girl

April 21, 2009

Don’t you just love butt-kickin,’ sweaty workouts when your clothes are a mess by the end?! Check out my sweat-drenched shirt! Ewwwww!! Gross!!

I’m a little disgusted with myself, but I am also proud that I pushed myself and had a great workout this evening. And, what can I say, I am a sweaty girl! ;-) Do you sweat a lot when you exercise?

Dinner

Mmmmm… good dinner tonight! :-D The goat cheese was easily the star of the meal! I’ve always liked goat cheese, but I never appreciated its awesomeness until recently. It instantly makes a boring, old salad a million times better!

Dinner also included Garlicky Pinto Bean Toast (Garlicky Pinto Beans mashed-up and spread on whole wheat toast). The Garlicky Pinto Bean Toast tasted a lot like regular garlic bread, but with much more substance

The final piece of dinner was the yummiest Cheese Crisps (made with Gruyere cheese), which I found at the Fruit Center Marketplace the other day. These cheese crisps are so addicting!!! Mal and I can easily finish off a whole box in one sitting!

And finally, dessert is a cute dark chocolate bunny from Easter. I’m thinking about smearing a little peanut butter on him!

Good night, blog friends! See ya tomorrow!

i sweat so badly, it’s gross sometimes. my treadmill was dripping this morning and my spin bike (and underneath) are always covered with sweat.

I don’t sweat that much, really… I always wondered why, because I work really hard!

Anna April 21, 2009 at 8:32 pm

I sweat more than I once believed to be humanly possible. Case in point: wringing the sweat out of my hair before leaving the yoga studio today.

Sounds gross – but I LOVE a good sweat from a workout! One of the reasons why I love running outside during the summer :)

I get super sweaty too, it’s ridiculous! It makes me feel accomplished afterwards though!

I’m a big sweater, too. That’s why I prefer to run/work out outside rather than in the gym so I don’t have to be a sweaty mcgee around other people that I may possibly know! ;-)

Oh. and I also LOVE goat cheese. It has moved it’s way up to #2 all time favorite foods, right behind chocolate (duh)!

Wowza. Good for you and your workout! I sweat like crazy too, but feel like no one else ever does!
That pinto garlic toast looks wonderful to me for some reason!

I am beginning to think that I am just odd, because I really don’t sweat that much despite my hard workouts. I can run in 90 degree weather like it’s no big thang.. hhmm…

Dinner looks fabulous!

Girl, I sweat like no other! My favorite is when I finish a run and sit down to stretch and stand up to see a nice butt sweat mark. Awesome lol!

Kind of disappointing, but I really don’t sweat much, even when I run long runs in summer.
I can not wait to make those garlicky pinto beans- yum!

I’m not much of a sweaty person, but I almost wish I could feel “that” effect of a workout sometimes!

Yummy dinner, those cheese crisps sound great!

Wow!! What were you doing?? I sweat quite a bit, and love the way i feel after a great sweat-inducing workout!! (but i’m slightly embaressed/disgusted by myself when i’m around others- and hop straight into the shower!!)

elise April 21, 2009 at 10:02 pm

ummmm…my shirt looks like that after EVERY trip to the gym. seriously, every trip. i guess im a sweaty girl by nature because i never leave the gym dry. thats part of the reason i dont get those who can workout on lunch breaks and return to work sans shower…i guess its just me?

Emmy April 21, 2009 at 10:10 pm

Really like the garlicky pinto bean toast. I’ll have to try it!

As for sweating, I’m quite the opposite. I don’t sweat a bit when I run (inside a climate controlled area) and once I’m finish I only get a teeny weeny bit of “dew” on my face. Never even a bead of sweat.

Delicious looking meals today, Tina. :)

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, because I mean it as a compliment (however, I know it can be a little disconcerting when people compare you to other people!), but I’ve been trying to figure out who you remind me of, a little, and finally figured out that it’s the actress who plays Maria on the TV show ‘Coronation Street’. Especially in this photo: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/a152575/luke-inadvertantly-scares-maria.html

LOVE goat cheese! I think it’s my favorite salad topping.

Separate thought: Sweating a ton is an awesome reminder of a challenging workout.

I don’t personally sweat a lot but one of my friends literally has sweat dripping off her nose and chin when she works out! Ewwie!! ;)

I am with you…I sweat like crazy…more than my hubby actually which is really weird.
I’m curious though, what do you know about sweating?
If you sweat alot is that good or bad? Also can how much you sweat be a hereditary thing passed down from your family?
Just wondering if you knew anything about it! ;)

Haha I love the sweaty shirt! I sweat a ton when I work out and it used to make my embarrassed until my trainer told me once that it just means that I have a “sophisticated cooling system”! I just avoid wearing anything on the BOTTOM that shows sweat… hehe.
