You guys knew I couldn’t stay away for a whole week, didn’t you? I had a feeling I’d be back before my week-long “hiatus” was over, but I didn’t think it would be this soon! Oh well, I missed you guys and blogging is what a love to do. For me, it’s a hobby, part-time job, and a creative outlet all in one. I missed it and now I am back. How have you been? What did I miss?

Workout

This morning, I had a wonderful workout at Healthworks: 45 minutes of Body Defined, followed by 15 minutes of Power Abs, which had my abs screaming for mercy! It’s going to hurt to laugh tomorrow! You know that feeling, right?

Breakfast

I’m blogging from Starbucks this morning. I love their free Wi-Fi! It takes 5 minutes to set up and then you just log-in when you want to use it again. Piece of cake.

This morning’s breakfast included a number of my favorite foods: Barney Butter X 2

Fresh strawberries

Iced soy misto (aka iced coffee with a lot of soy milk) and a bottle of water, which I feel bad about buying. I was parched after the gym, and I promise to reuse and recycle it. At least I bought it from a brand with a wonderful social mission: Ethos Water! 😉

All together…

And check out what came in the mail for me yesterday: Bethenny Frankel’s Naturally Thin! I’ve been wanting to read this since the day it was released to the public. I’m only about 25-30 pages into the book, but I LOVE it already! Bethenny and I share many of the same ideas about how to eat and balance one’s food choices. Some of what she says in her book is almost word-for-word what I’ve said on Carrots ‘N’ Cake! And her recipe for Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies is weirdly similar to mine! What can I say, great minds think alike! Has anyone read this book? Opinions?
