Life in Slow Motion

March 9, 2009

I’m in slow motion this morning. Wouldn’t it be nice to climb back into bed and sleep the day away? ;-) One can dream, right?

My morning oats were a blend of banana, blueberries, vanilla hemp milk, and ground flaxseed meal, topped with two spoonfuls of peanut butter. (I may need to breakdown and buy more Barney Butter. I miss that wonderful stuff!)

Lunch Preview

For lunch today, I have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat, carrot sticks, cottage cheese mixed with crushed pineapple, and a Lemon Zest Luna Bar. I’m a dork, but I am already looking forward to lunch today!

Support Me in the MS Walk

A family member of mine was recently diagnosed with MS, which is why I registered for Walk MS, a 6 mile walk through Cambridge, MA on Sunday, April 5, 2009. I hope that you will support my fund raising efforts. Any amount, great or small, helps to make a difference in the lives of people with MS. I appreciate your support and look forward to letting you know how I do.

MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. Please consider donating to this cause.

Question of the Day

Name three things in your refrigerator right now. (The more random, the better! )

1. Numerous yogurts of differing brands
2. Kale (to make Kath’s nutty vanilla soup)
3. Low-fat ricotta cheese that I can’t wait to use, but haven’t thought of anything fantastic yet!

I think the general consensus is that this Monday is the worst Monday ever!

3 things eh? What to choose….

1. Baja Rosa strawberry cream tequila. It has to be at least 10 years old. I think I should throw it out.
2. Mustard I brought back from the Netherlands 4 years ago.
3. Bison sausage.
