I feel like I haven’t posted about dinner in ages! Sorry, guys!
I’ve been eating dinner every night, but lately, I’ve been losing steam by the end of the evening, so I don’t end up blogging or I eat cereal for dinner (like I did last night) and it’s not that exciting. So, anyway… I’m trying to get back on track!
Instead of going to the gym tonight (like I had planned), I changed into my PJs and poured myself a glass of red wine. Sometimes you need to listen to that part of your body that says: “Boo, gym! Wine, please!”
For dinner, I whipped-up a quick Boboli pizza with ham, mozzarella, and marina sauce. On the side, I had some over-cooked roasted brussels sprouts, which look unappetizing, but tasted delish.
As a sweet treat after dinner, I had half of a whole wheat wrap with almond butter and chocolate chips.
And, right now, Mr. Handy Man is building a new piece of furniture for our apartment. I’m excited for it to come together!

Hooray for a restful evening!!
“Boo, gym! Wine, please!” – haven’t we all been there?
Is Mal putting together an Ikea purchase by chance? I get such a kick out of the instructions with pictures in place of words.
Very cool about Ecosearch.org… I’ll check it out.
What did you think of the Red Truck? I’ve had that brand in white and liked it a lot.
Glad you’re having a relaxing night! Sounds like your new sched is tiring!
My kind of night! Enjoy!
I just want to say… Thank you Tina for making me feel better about skipping the gym tonight for a date with my pjs and a dark chocolate bar!
I guess it was just one of those nights– I hope you enjoyed yours!
I have tons of those nights where wine beats the gym! It is very necessary!! Your pizza looks yummy!!
Sounds like you listened to your body tonight
And I hope now you’re sitting on the couch with your wine watching your hubby put that furniture together…hehehe
let us know which kitchen most people picked!!
pizza looks great! tina, you are awesome!!
Sounds like heaven
I’m all about listening to your body!
Enjoy your night off!!
Sometimes you just need a night off, and your body will thank you!
PJs and wine is SO much better than the gym at night! Sounds like a perfect night in
The pizza looks good!
mal looks like he’s having fun
the benefit sounds amazing with that line up of chefs- especially joanne chang!
I’m on the couch in my pink sweats watching TV- way better than the gym. Enjoy your new furniture!
I grinned from ear to ear when I read the title to your post, and then I was just plain jealous.
Someone’s been to IKEA!!!! Now where’s that damn allen wrench?
being intuitive on workout is soooooo important!!! Love that you follow your flow! I’m learning that and it’s great!
You did the right thing listening to your body. Sometimes if you burn the candle at both ends you achieve nothing. Best to relax and rejuvenate and hit the gym again when you feel more motivated!
good job listening to your body – rest days are super important (and fun!)
that picture of Mal is hilarious – he’s like a Dad on Christmas Eve trying to get a kids toy put together!
I also skipped the gym and read my book. I got to go to bed by 9! Yeah!
My favorite way to relax!
