Memory Lane
Mmmm… tonight’s dinner was filling and SO GOOD! Love that! It was also fun to eat with chopsticks!
Dinner was a team effort tonight. Mal pan-seared the pork gyoza while I oven-roasted the brussels sprouts. (I tossed them in olive oil and added minced garlic and garlic salt before cooking.) On the side: TJ’s gyoza dipping sauce and a second mug of Ginger Peach White Tea. I dipped both the gyoza and brussels sprouts in the sauce. Mmmmm!
My sweet treat after dinner was a bowl of Cocoa Bumpers, TJ’s Frosted Wheats, and chocolate chips. These three were such a yummy dessert, I made myself another bowl of the same combo!
After my workout this afternoon (a 45 minute treadmill walk), I snacked on a clementine and a mug of tea. It was almost time for dinner, but I couldn’t wait until then. A juicy piece of fruit and some hot tea did the trick– I wasn’t starving when dinnertime rolled around.
The Early Years
Scanners are so cool!!! I spent part of the afternoon today scanning old pictures. What a trip down memory lane! I have tons of oldies to share with you guys, so here’s just a tip of the iceberg!
Tina, 1982, Kentucky
(I may have lived in a trailer… in Kentucky.)
Tina and Stephanie (my sis), 1983, Florence, Italy
(My dad was in the Army, so we lived in Italy for a few years when I was a toddler.)
Mal, 1984, at home in Massachusetts
Mal with “Albert,” 1987, at home in Massachusetts
(When Mal was 24-years-old, his parents finally told him that “Albert,” the guinea pig, was a girl.)
Mal on his 7th birthday, May 1989, at home in Massachusetts
(Look closely. Mal sported a mullet for years!)

Mal had a great mullet! Something about the pictures of you reminds me of Lauren Graham (the mom from Gilmore girls). Totally random.
