Mr. Mal is sick.
His cold finally took over, and now he is feeling yucky. He doesn’t have a fever, so like the saying says (“Feed a cold, starve a fever”), I fed his cold with hot soup and a ham and cheese sandwich.
My own dinner was similar: Half of a ham and swiss sandwich on whole wheat with oven-roasted garlic brussels sprouts…
… and a cup of Chicken and Wild Rice soup. Chicken and wild rice soup was the closest thing we had to chicken noodle, but I think it made Mal feel a little better!
For dessert: sweet cereals + chocolate chips.

Those brussels sprouts look so tasty – I usually just steam mine, but I’m going to try roasting them next time.
Have a great evening!
Tina, are you doing away with your lunch post altogether (due to your new job)? – i.e. you won’t post your lunch at all? Just wondering.
Hope Mal feels better!
I’m not sure if you saw this but in this month’s Shape magazine they name Healthworks in Boston as one of the greenest gyms!
“The five clubs in this chain use recycled paper for everything from cafe napkins to toilet tissue. They also buy nontoxic shower and cleaning products and recycle more thatn 1425 pounds of bottles, cans and paper every week.”
woo!
@BethT: I’m not sure yet. I’m trying to not post lunch this week to see how it works. Although, I might post lunch tomorrow! I guess I am still trying out a few things!
@Hilary: So cool! HW is the BEST gym!!!
