Good morning, blog world! Happy FRIDAY!!! I can almost taste the weekend! I hope your Friday is off to a fantastic start!
Workout
My morning run was one of my favorite treadmill workouts (for both walking and running): 45-Minute Treadmill Workout. This workout keeps you interested with its ever-changing speeds and inclines, and challenges you with intervals and uphill running. The walking is an excellent workout, too– great for your buns!
Run stats:
- Distance: 5.11
- Time: 45:05
- Pace: 8:49 min/mile
- Calories: 499
Breakfast
Breakfast was also full of favorites today: oats, granola, banana, Barney Butter, and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.

Yum!!! This was an awesome Friday morning breakfast! (I am especially loving the Zoe’s granola mixed into my oats. So good!!)
Question of the Day
Have you ever had a nickname(s)?
I have a bunch! My sister calls me Peter, Mal calls me Llama (as in “Tina eat your dinner!”), my mom calls me Christine (even though my name is Christina), my father-in-law and my friend Anna call me Tiner, Erin sometimes calls me Teen Teen, and the people at Starbucks occassionally call me Trina.

my real name is margaret, and when I was growing up everyone called me meg. then when I went to school (i was homeschooled until middle school) people kept calling me megan and it bugged me so I changed it to maggie. now i’m maggie, magpie, mags, and sometimes our friends call bobby and me “magbert” or “bobgie”. and my family still calls me meg
cool question! i love the responses.
i did your 45 minute treadmill workout the other day and i LOVED it
great routine to add to the mix! thanks for all your great advice on treadmill routines!
Ah, yes…the Trina…I get that one often, as well as the Christine (my name is Christina as well) My nieces and nephews call me Teenie Bopper (not sure why), and my dh affectionately calls me “Butt-Head”…such a romantic he is!
Since I somehow find myself constantly surrounded by star wars geeks, “Princess” is usually my nickname.
Hahahaha oh Teen Teen! I already have another one for you – Chrissy T (now that I know your name is Christina). My nicknames have usually been a play on my last name(s).
That mug is so cute.
@Tina!: I get Teenie Bopper, too! Bopper sort of rhymes with my last name!
Most people call me Sammie or Sam which is short for Samantha if you didn’t already know. Charlie calls me “Cheeky” – he has ever since I met him – he never uses my real name. One time I took D to a mommy & me class and the instructor asked him his mommy’s name and he told her Cheeky. When I was a kid my dad always called me “Hot Shot” or “Klutz” – I had a problem with tripping over my own feet. Have a great weekend.
Until kindergarten I went by Cassie, and my whole dad’s side of the family (except my couin who is my age who asked if I still went by it last year) call me Cassie. My mom calls me Cassie Lassie and Curly Girly (I have very curly hair). My best and closest friends call me Cass. Other friends call me Cassidillia and Cassidilla (like quesidia). In high school band of my clasmates decided Cassidy was not a real name then my whole Clarinet section called me and started calling me Cassandra. (the boy who started it was one of those problem starters and it was eaisiest to just let it go.)
I’m going to do your treadmill workout at the gym this afternoon! I’ll be sure to give credit where credit is due
I’m looking forward to workin’ my buns!
My family nickname is Bender. I guess that’s not very shocking, is it?
I keep hearing great things about dunkin donuts coffee, I must try it! Love that cute mug it’s in!
ooo and the nicknames go on and on. Bobbers, Bobasita, Bolbaliciouse, Bobarino, Bobs, Bob-O! lol
Wow, how can you keep track of all these nicknames
A lot of my college friends call me The Russian and my freshman year they called me “biceps” ’cause I was ripped… hehe
It looks like you’ve had a wonderfully healthy day so far! Thanks for accepting my friend request on Foodbuzz. I can’t wait to read more of your stuff!
My niece calls me Kelly Belly. Most of my friends call me Kelly Ohhhh. Or KO.
Great workout. I tried pilates for the first time tonight. I really liked it. My husbands nickname for me is sweet cheeks.
Hi Tina! Im new to this whole blogging thing, but I always check up on your blog! Your very motivating to get my butt into gear! I love all your workouts!! This one esp!
That looks like a really good workout! I have had many nicknames….. when I was little, my Aunt called me scooter because I was always scooting away in my scooter! She still calls me that to this day! And then in high school people called me Tay Tay Cakes, which I do not know where this came from? And now just everyone call me Tay- which is short for Taylor! Hope you had a great Friday!
sadly Im nickname free….but THANK YOU FOR THE TREADMILL WORKOUT LINK
I was also creative mill workout program free.
Hey! Great treadmill workout … I’ve bookmarked it. I’m always looking for something to spice things up on the treadmill. Hurry up warm weather!
My name is Katrina and long ago my niece couldn’t say it, so it came out Treeni and that has stuck forever, well, she’s 22 now! Also have been called Koi most of my life. Don’t ask.!
I did the walking workout today and it kicked my booty! I’m don’t use treadmills regularly and it was much more challenging than I thought. According to my HRM, I burned over 450 calories. It’s funny because the treadmill said I only burned something like 250, usually the equipment estimate is much higher. Thanks for posting it! I’m going to do it again for sure!
My nickname is Worm. My dad called me that because I was so squirmy as an infant. Now I’m often called Meg or Megs (but never Meggie – yuck!).
I am really enjoying your Move Before You Snooze challenge. I do it every night and my triceps are screaming your name most mornings!!
Love the blogs. Thank you for writing.
Megan
