Wishing I Was Snowed In

It’s stilllll snowing in Boston! Holy moly, stop already!!! I’m so comfy and cozy in my apartment, and the last thing I want to do is go downtown for a haircut (bangs) and work a late shift at Healthworks. Meh. It’s scary outside!!

Breakfast

Mal and I considered going to the Wheelhouse Diner for breakfast this morning, but the icky weather made our decision for us. Neither of us really wanted to venture out in the snow. Surprisingly, we had all of the ingredients needed to make our own homemade diner breakfast

A perfect Sunday morning breakfast: scrambled eggs, homefries, toast with Smart Butter, iced coffee, and water…

Workout

I was feeling kind of gross after eating a ton of nachos and drinking all of those beers last night, so I went for an easy 3.5 mile run on the treadmill this morning. It felt good to get moving and sweat out some of that beer!

Run stats:

  • Distance: 3.5 miles
  • Time: 30:57
  • Pace: 8:51 min/mile
  • Calories: 342

Snacks

After my run and a quick shower, I chugged 1.5 glasses of water and snacked on a few frosted gingerbread cookies. Man, they are GOOD! :D

For my shift tonight at HW, I packed a couple of snacks: a Granny Smith apple and a Zoe’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar, which I am looking forward to trying!

I’ve got all sorts of stuff to deal with before I head downtown. Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday! I’m off!
