A Late Start

I woke up at 7:30 this morning, but somehow, it seem like I have had a late start to my morning. I finished eating breakfast around 10:45, which is pretty usual for me. I like eating my breakfast early! The reasons for my late-ish breakfast include: exercise, a shower, cleaning, and grocery shopping. At least, I’ve accomplished something this morning! :)

Workout

I ran for 40 minutes on the treadmill this morning. My sister and I have plans to purchase new running sneakers and go for a run later this afternoon, so I kept my run somewhat short.

Run stats:

  • Distance: 4.55 miles
  • Time: 40:00
  • Pace: 8:45 min/mile
  • Calories: 448

Breakfast

By the time Mal and I got back from grocery shopping, I was beyond hungry… even a little bit cranky! I threw together a bowl of vanilla Chobani with peanut butter Puffins and Zoe’s granola. On the side, I had a blood orange, which was a Christmas stocking stuffer from Santa! :)

With D&D coffee…

Check out the pug socks that I am wearing today! They make me so happy! :)

I have more cleaning on the agenda this morning, and then I am meeting my sister and my friend, Jen for lunch downtown. I hope I am hungry by then!

Enjoy the day, guys! I’ll be back later with more posts– I have quite a backlog!

Yum I love blood oranges! The color also looks so pretty. You went running then grocery shopping before breakfast! Wow I would be starving too!

I too get cranky when I haven’t eaten. My husband forces fruit on me when I start snapping at him. Poor thing.

Beautiful blood orange – great stocking stuffer!

I definitely get cranky when I can’t eat! My mom is the opposite – she will forget to eat because she’s so busy. We both don’t understand how the other can do it :)

I love the pug socks! Have a great day, Tina!

I love those socks. I get cranky too when I am not fed right away. I ran this morning with my new Garmin 405. I ran about for a mile or so and then realized that I had stopped the timer. Don’t you hate it when technology interferes with your run?
