this is one of the advantage of having a blog, it makes reviewing the year easier!
Goals for 2009? Less stress, more quality time with my loved ones and more healthy eatings.
Wow seems like you have a had a great year!! I hope 2009 is even better
You’ve had a great year!! So much to celebrate
Love the goals – they sound great!
What a year it’s been! Congrats on having such a rewarding 2008 and all my best in 2009
Such a great rundown of the year – fantastic!
SOOOOO fantastic!!
Happy New Year’s Eve!!
one of my major goals for the year is to save more too! I need to make myself a budget I think I might dig around the internet this weekend and see what kind of “tools” I can find.
Congrats on a fabulous 2008! I wish you continued success in 2009!!
You have had such an amazing year – thanks for sharing! One of my fitness goals is to get more comfortable and confident riding a bike which would be a good complement to running for me.
What a fabulous year for you! Above all, your wedding/marriage will always keep 2008 in your memories! You’ve accomplished so many amazing things this year and I look up to you immensely. You are so beautiful, inspiring, and smart—it amazes me! Wishing you and Mal continued success, health, and happiness in 2009!
It’s been great to follow you through such wonderful milestones. Wishing you and the hubby a fabulous New Year!
haha, as I read over your highlights I kept thinking “oh I remember that!” I guess I didn’t realize that when I started reading your blog it was still in its infancy….guess you had me fooled by your professionalism and badass-ism at the first go already! Anyway, you and Mr.Mal are hyper-photogenic…just had to throw that out there. Happy New Year’s!
What a great year for you! Hope 2009 is even better!
such a great year, Tina! Here’s to another one, I’m excited for 2009 and accomplishing my goals- best of luck, happiness, and health in the New Year
This is so cool that all your readers have been able to share these HUGE events with you!! Sounds like you’ve had an awesome year…and I agree that you sounded like a professional from the beginning! It’s so funny that you found Kath’s blog through Eat Like Me, b/c when I first found Eat Like Me…someone posted a question asking if there were other similar food blogs, and someone responded that their favorites were KERF, and Carrots and Cake!
haha there’s my little story about how i found YOUR blog! Have a great New Years!
What an exciting year Tina. I can’t remember how I found your blog, but it’s great. Looking forward to 2009
Happy New Year!
This is an amazing post!
I love that picture of you on your honeymoon in the pool – you look so good. I have shown people that pic and been like, “Look at this girl, she is so fit!”
love the recap love the goals! I like the 12% income, I need a number like that!
what an awesome recap. CnC has totally evolved over the year into a fabulous blog. congrats! be fine in ’09
Aww I am honored to be a part of your list!!! (And I love seeing Barney Butter on there
) I was sad when the year of my wedding was over.
I love your recap! And you should definitely get a pug
I think this may be my first comment here but I’ve been reading for some time and am a big fan of your blog. I love your 2008 recap and your 2009 goals! I am especially interested in your “stop binge drinking” goal. This is also something I’m pretty interested in doing too. I’m a 21 year old college student and although going crazy at parties is something that still seems totally desirable **occasionally**, I am definitely looking for strategies to help me use better judgment to, you know, fall short of the “binge drinking” qualification when I go out. If you think of any good strategies it would be awesome if you shared. Happy New Year!
@Lisa: Check out http://www.mint.com. I just started using it a couple of months ago, but it has been awesome so far!
@carolinebee: No kidding! That is so cool!
@Runeatrepeat: Awww, THANK YOU!
@Ellie: Good question! I need help with this too– sometimes I still feel like I am in college! Check out some of my drinking tips: http://carrotsncake.com/weight-loss/weight-loss-tips/healthy-cocktails. I will also try to come up with some more tips and tricks through trial and error in the common months!
All,
Thanks for all of your sweet comments and well wishes for 2009!
What a great year!
Best of luck in 2009.
a great year!!
