Ooops!
I totally fell off the healthy eating wagon yesterday. I also skipped an evening workout for my couch and BBQ chips. I’m not sure where my “unhealthy” mood came from– maybe it was the freezing, cold, dark weather or a little PMS? All I wanted to do yesterday was be lazy and eat junk food. I guess those days just happen every now and then. I got that blah-ness out of my system, and I am back on track today!
Highlights from yesterday’s food choices…

Those days definitely happen once in a while. I just enjoy them for what they are and get back on track the next day.

That doesn’t look to bad! But good for you for getting right back on track – I always find that’s the hardest thing to do. It’s easy to be healthy once you get in the routine again.

I hate grammatical errors!

don’t sweat it… ince in a while I get these days too, when I just rebel against veggies and good food choices. Then I get bck on track the next day as well!

We all have those days! That PMS, she can be a beastie!
I love those chips and the Tuscan cheese ones are also pretty tasty!

that’s normal Tina. I think it’s the coldness and human nature! ^_^
And where do you get those motion icons?

I just saw your NYC list… and advise against Serendipity. I don’t know if a bunch of tourists told you to go there, but as a native NYer I can tell you it’s SO overrated and the crowds/waits are overwhelming. There a ton of other great places in my fine city to go.
Also be forewarned that while PB and Co is cool, it is pricey. There’s a really cute wine bar Shades by it though that is small and intimate and makes great crepes.

buffalo bleu kettle chips? i would be in heaven! i can’t blame you for falling off the wagon!

I made the pumpkin bread you posted the other day, and it is wonderful. My husband made it his snack last night and his breakfast this morning. I posted it on my blog.

Cold weather and PMS mean you are entitled to sit on the couch and eat chips.

We all need a “day off” every once in a while!!

Looks delicious! You kind of have a color theme going on there!

I agree with you about falling off the wagon last night!!! We were trying to put together a make-shift early Thanksgiving dinner which took FOREVER and I consumed wayyyy too much wine during the process and then of course overate a bit. Today is a new day

Hmm, that looks absolutely fabulous! You are a girl after my own heart. Some days, I abandon everything and just loaf around eating whatever HFCS/Fried/White Carb/Sugar I want to put in my mouth, and you know what? I LOVE IT. I think people who can do this without guilt once in a while can lead the healthiest, happiest lifestyles. You go girl!

Those chips look like the perfect addition to a superbowl party!
on Nov 20th, 2008 at 10:27 am
It all looks good… But it’s okay, one day won’t kill you!
on Nov 20th, 2008 at 10:47 am
I agree with Jennifer…avoid Serendipity.
on Nov 20th, 2008 at 12:19 pm
no worries! This happens and means you are human and healthy! I think it feels good to fall off because then it makes me more motivated to get back on track. BBQ potato chips would do me in too.

We all have those days, Tina… it’s just human. Mine sometimes last a whole week, but I’m glad you’re back on track!
