Fluffy Dinosaurs
Good morning! I loooooveee lazy Saturdays– sleeping in, bumming around in PJs, cooking a big breakfast… it’s incredible!
I started my leisurely morning with a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee with milk and sugar, which is the only way to drink D&D coffee, in my opinion!
Mal and I were in the mood for a fun breakfast this morning. A fun breakfast means pancakes to us! And even more fun is dinosaur pancakes! My mom gave me these cute, little dinosaur molds for Christmas last year, but we don’t use them nearly enough!
Today’s dinosaur pancakes: a Brontosaurus and a Stegosaurus.
My big Saturday morning breakfast included 2 dinosaur pancakes with 2 slices of Boar’s Head bacon, cantaloup, and D&D coffee. The cantaloup, being out-of-season, was unfortunately tasteless and expensive. I should have known better! Meh.
I topped my pancakes with a combo of maple syrup and pumpkin butter.
Here’s my Brontosaurs covered in pumpkin butter and maple syrup. The combo was sweet and very autumn-y! :)
Halloween
The going-away party last night was a great time, but Mal and I only stayed for a couple of hours. We were still recovering from Thursday night’s shenanigans, so when the group went out to the bars to “party,” Mal and I headed home. (We are such the old, married couple!
)
At the party, I started with a cup of keg beer. I really don’t like keg beer (I drank my fill in college), so I thought sipping a cup of bad beer would slow (or halt) my drinking pace. The keg beer was just too awful, so I switched to a Harvest Moon beer, which I milked the whole time we were at the party.
Wally!!! Here I am with my friend, Jen, and our friend, Wally, who is moving to Arizona in just a couple of days. He’s going to be greatly missed.
Wally’s dog, Ozzie, was ready for Halloween with his orange jack-o-lantern bandana. Ozzie is the cutest! He’s such a good dog! I’m going to miss him too!
Thanks, Foodbuzz!
Foodbuzz is the BEST! I won one of their weekly raffles, and received an All-Clad stir fry pan! It’s AWESOME! And it matches our other All-Clad pots and pans. THANK YOU, FOODBUZZ!!!!!
It’s beautiful here in Boston today! I’m taking advantage of the wonderful November weather and going for a long run by the ocean. Happy Saturday!!!

Hello All!
I am doing one big cumulative comment, which I will post on everyone’s blogs that I regularly frequent. I have been lurking on your blogs or quite some time now. I don’t know why I never posted before, nothing to say I guess! :0 Anyways- I’m Sarah and I am from a suburb of Chicago. I really enjoy reading all of your blogs and I feel I know you guys! (Please don’t take that as a creepy sort of thing! JK) I am recovering from an ED and you all have been such an inspiration to me, helping me understand what ‘normal’ eating actually consists of. So I want to give everyone a big THANK YOU! This is such a wonderful ‘community’ that you have here. I hope to be a part of it! Feel free to email me if you ever want to chat!

Good morning! Congrats on the pan winnings- I Love your pan hanging rack thinger: when I finally have a kitchen of my own I want one for sure.
Your lifestyle and vibrancy has been such an inspiration to me that I’ve decided to start a blog of my own (keep me accountable, hopefully join the blog community!) In fact, the decision was actually spurred by my recent arnold bread win (through You, no less!). I can’t wait to get it and share my thoughts about it with everyone. I just wanted to make sure it was alright that I added you to my ‘blogroll’ (Please don’t feel obligated to do the same, I’m still learning with all the blog stuff and it’s looking a Bit sad at the moment, haha!).
Have an awesome day- and maybe next time the dinosaurs could use some candy corn horns/eyes- it IS the day after halloween and all!

A run by the ocean sounds really nice! Hope it was a good one. We had a Bat Mitzvah to attend this morning or we would’ve went to spin class. Will miss it tomorrow too as the party part of the Bat Mitzvah starts pretty early.
Those were cute pancakes. Looks like you enjoyed breakfast.
