Easy Morning

It’s gray and rainy and kind of gross here in Boston this morning, but, for some reason, I bounded out of bed well before my alarm was scheduled to go off. I have a hefty to-do list for today, so I figured that I might as well get up and get going.

First task: Baking! What better way to begin your Saturday than with a healthy dose of baking?! :D I made one of my favorite recipes this morning: Oatmeal Raisin Bars, which are for a special occasion later today.

Like always, I woke up in the mood for oatmeal, but I decided to switch it up with a Barney Butter and banana open-faced sandwich on Arnold’s Sandwich Thins.

With homemade iced coffee

Off to tackle my to-do list. Up next: exercise!

    Have a beautiful day :)
Are you going to ask your stylist about hairdryers?

    Erin,

Yea, I probably will. I’m trying out a new salon and stylist, so we’ll see how the conversation flows. I’m also in the market for an affordable hair dryer– hopefully, she has one she can recommend!

    Tina,

I had to leave a comment because it is such a small world. I got an e-mail today to sign up for some social networking website for my sorority and when I signed up your announcement about your blog was one of the ones that came up. Too funny. I’m sure you’ve probably mentioned this, but where did you go to school?

I am going to have to make that iced coffee. I always think about doing it but never get around to it.
