Yay, New Camera!
On my lunch break, I walked over to Best Buy to buy a new camera to replace my old, dying one. Best Buy didn’t have many Canon options (about 4-5), which actually made my decision much easier. I decided on the Canon Powershot SD1100 IS in blue. Check out the difference in photo quality of these 2 cameras.

Much better, right?! I’m psyched to have a camera that works again. Hopefully, you guys will be seeing some gorgeous food photos soon!
My lunch was snapped with my old camera (blah), which is why all of the food looks fuzzy/like its glowing. It’s actually an interesting photo effect. Today’s lunch: Mal-made sandwich on whole wheat with ham, Swiss, and sprouts as well as carrots and dates on the side. I also might have eaten a spoonful of peanut butter right out of the jar (that I keep in my desk)… sometimes you just need peanut butter.
I have a long night ahead of me! I finish work here at 4:45 pm and immediately start my 5-hour shift at HW at 5:00 pm– just enough time to commute and change into my HW uniform. I have a feeling it’ll be a busy shift tonight, so hopefully, the time passes quickly.
The food that I packed for this afternoon and evening are Stonyfield blueberry yogurt with fiber sticks (afternoon snack) and a peanut butter and apple butter sandwich on Ezekiel bread, a banana, and some almonds (dinner).
I have a few more things to bust out before I leave for the day. Back to work I go!

What do you normally drink with your meals? I see that you often show coffee, but I was curious about what you drink with lunch and dinner. (I’m trying to break myself of the Diet Coke habit and need suggestions besides water!)

APT,
Ice water. I’m a water freak!
For beverages, I mostly stick to water, coffee, tea, soda water, wine, and beer. I’ll occasionally drink organic/all-natural juice.

Nice camera! How do you like it so far? I’m looking for a small point and shoot myself – you can’t always take the big SLR camera with you!

Wow, what a difference that camera makes, huh? I’ve never really had one die on me; I guess I just always buy a new one before I need to.

Here’s my plan of action after lotsa thinking: I’m replacing my old nikon for a big SLR canon and use it on hlidays or special photos and occasions. And then replacing my cellphone (which is due to a free upgrade anyway) for a phone with a super cool camera, that I can take with me everywhere. : )
