No one ever gets my name right…I have just accepted it (and blame my parents!)

My biggest cooking/baking blunder is more of a kitchen blunder. I had a bunch of people over last summer for a party. I was making these watermelon margaritas for everyone and the ice just wouldn’t crush in the blender. So I got the bright idea to use a wooden spoon to move things around. Well apparently I pushed the spoon too far down because it was destroyed in a split second with teeny tiny wooden bits every where. I had to throw away all that tequila.

I, too, have had many an embarrassing kitchen story! The latest – I wanted to make a cup of tea, so I filled up the teapot, turned on the burner, got distracted…and forgot about it.

Tina, Thos little packets of almond butter look great! Do you know if they are sold at Stop&Shop? I can look online if you don't know.

One of my emvarassing food stories involves my first Pumpkin Loaf. I have no idea what happened, but it rose so high that it spilled over the side. Halfway through baking, I had to take it out and transfer to a new pan. The thing took like 3 hours to bake! It tasted great though.
